State Senate District 36

Attention District 7 voters

Polling location change

For residents participating in the August 17 special election for the 36th District Senate seat, in-person voting has been relocated. Instead of voting at Greenwich High School, you will be voting in the cafeteria of Central Middle School, 9 Indian Rock Lane. Polling hours remain the same: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Take a look at the Registration Requirements below and register either online or by returning the online forms to the Greenwich Town Clerk.

Election Day

Polls are open from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm on Primary/Election Day.

Greenwich has twelve voting locations. 

If you cannot make it, get an Absentee Ballot as early as 90 days before the election. but it must be received on or before the  Primary/Election Day by the Town Clerk to be counted. An application for an absentee ballots may by requested by visiting or calling the Town Clerk’s Office at Greenwich Town Hall or online here:

The ballot will be mailed back to the location you specify. The completed ballot needs to be returned to the Town Clerk’s office by 8 pm primary / election night to be counted.
