Fred Camillo

State Representative serving the 151st General Assembly district of Greenwich

State Rep. Fred Camillo proudly represents the 151st district of Greenwich. He was re-elected to his 5th term in November, 2016. Fred serves as a member of the Commerce, Executive and Legislative Nominations, and Higher Education and Employee Advancement Committees. He was also reappointed Assistant Republican Leader by House Republican Leader Themis Klarides.

Completing his fifth term in the State General Assembly, Fred has worked relentlessly to bring about effective change in Connecticut. In past sessions, Fred introduced and gained passage of the Distracted Driving Law, Volunteer Protection and Indemnification Act, which gives CT the strongest volunteer protection law in the country as well as wrote and introduced a bill that now enables fire police patrolmen to issue traffic violations at traffic, fire, and or flood scenes. Fred’s experience as a small business owner, high school teacher, baseball coach, and mortgage banker has provided him with the knowledge of where government works for people and where it fails them. His continued active involvement in our community provides him with the insight and experience necessary to legislate in the best interest of the 151st District.

Livvy Floren

State Representative serving the 149th General Assembly district of Greenwich and Stamford

State Rep. Livvy Floren proudly represents the 149th District of Greenwich and Stamford. She was re-elected to her 9th term in November 2016, and serves as Ranking Member on the Bonding sub-committee, and as a member of the Finance, Revenue, and Bondingand the Insurance and Real Estate committees. She was also reappointed Assistant Republican Leader by House Republican Leader Themis Klarides.

Representative Floren serves with a variety of community organizations and has been active in local government and politics for many years. She understands the special needs and challenges facing the 149th District and is committed to dealing with them.

Representative Floren is a former member of the Greenwich Board of Estimate and Taxation. She also served two terms as a member of the Greenwich Representative Town Meeting.

In 2015, Rep. Floren was honored with the David N. Theis Outstanding Service to the Community Award for her work on behalf of the people of the 149th district and surrounding communities.

A Greenwich resident for 44 years, she has been married to Doug Floren for 49 years. The Florens have four children: Jenny, Melissa, David and Clay, seven grandchildren – Greta, Dean, Bella, Anna, RJ, Lina and Magda.

Fred DeCaro

Fred is a fourth-generation resident of North Mianus. He served as an RTM Member from 1995 until 2007. During his tenure he held leadership positions as Chairman of the Budget Overview Committee, and Secretary of District 12.

Fred was first elected as Registrar of Voters in 2008. Since taking office, Fred has modernized most aspects of the office, offering real-time turnout data online through the use of electronic pollbooks. interactive demographic data analysis of registered voters, and an easy-to-use online voter registration lookup tool. Most importantly, he has set a high standard for customer service both at the polling place and in the Registrar’s office.

Fred is married to Meg DeCaro, and has two daughters, Amy (10 and Mary (8), who attend Greenwich Catholic School.

David Hopper

Mr. Hopper is an attorney where he practices Real Estate; Probate; Estate Planning; Wills; Trusts and Estates. He attended University of Richmond (B.A., 1987) and the Quinnipiac University School of Law (f/k/a the University of Bridgeport School of Law) (J.D., 1990).

He has served as the Judge of Probate for the District of Greenwich and a member of the Connecticut Probate Assembly since 2002. He served a member of the Executive Committee of Connecticut Probate Assembly from 2008-2011.

Mr. Hopper has been active in the community having served on the boards of Transportation Association, the Greenwich Old Timers Association and the Greenwich Board of Health. He has also been involved in the Greenwich Republican Town Committee and the Republican Round Table of Greenwich.

Mr. Hopper was born and raised in Greenwich where he currently lives with his family.
