Fred Camillo

A fourth generation native to Greenwich, Fred Camillo has devoted over four decades of service to our town – and to our great state as elected Representative of the 151st District of Greenwich. Serving in this position for the past 11 years (and counting!), Fred has tirelessly and proudly represented the voices of our diverse town both locally and on the state level up in Hartford.

Fred is known for listening to his constituents concerns, being a voice for the residents and taking action by solving problems and working across party lines.
As State Representative, Fred has served as the Ranking Member on the Commerce Committee, and as a member of the Banks and Executive and Legislative Nominations Committees. He was also appointed Assistant Republican Leader by Minority Leader Themis Klarides.

In the past, Fred has served on the Environment, Transportation, and Insurance and Real Estate Committees. The environment is near and dear to Fred’s heart. He is a founding member and board director of Greenwich Recycling Company (1991-2011), a company which set the standard for recycling of plastic, glass, cans and newspaper in Connecticut.

Lauren Rabin

Lauren Rabin is an active Greenwich resident and a current elected member of the Town of Greenwich Board of Education, a position she has proudly held since 2015. A devoted mother, wife, and community advocate, Lauren has served on many diverse town boards and committees, giving back to the community and loyally serving the town where she and her children were raised, and continues to call home.

In addition to Lauren’s community service positions, Lauren has a 30+ year career in technology and training and most recently served as Vice President of Marketing at Gartner in Stamford.

Lauren’s dedication to the Town and its residents is evident through her extensive community service resume as an active volunteer and Treasurer for several organizations: 15+ years volunteering on PTA Boards, two terms as an elected member of Greenwich RTM District 9 (2011-15) and an appointed member of the Board of Human Services (2012-15). Lauren served on the Distinguished Teachers Award Committee (2011-19) and the Greenwich Alliance for Education (2012-15). Lauren also served as Treasurer of Greenwich Youth Football League (2011-16) and a Cub Master of the Pack One Cub Scouts (1999-2004).

Carmella Budkins

Carmella Budkins is a second-generation Greenwich native and graduate of Greenwich High School. Carmella is married to John, a fellow Greenwich native and retired Head PGA Golf Professional. They have three children and five grandchildren that are all residents of Greenwich.

Over her tenure as Town Clerk, Carmella has implemented several initiatives that have resulted in positive operating impacts and ensuring the Town Clerk’s office reputation of timely, accurate and controlled service among evolving Town needs and Connecticut State Mandates. She has guided the office with prudent budget management, cross-trained Department employees to increase effectiveness, and modernized the office to facilitate accelerated information gathering. Carmella has leveraged Connecticut Grant Funds to enhance availability of recorded documents.

Heather Smeriglio

Heather and her husband John are both 3rd generation Greenwich natives. They raised their five children here in town. They are honored to be Marine Corp parents having their two oldest sons serving in the US Marine Corp.

Heather is Certified by the State of Connecticut as a Municipal Tax Collector. She spent four years working in the Tax Collector’s Office and is a member of the Certified Collectors Municipal Tax Collectors Association. She is also a former banker with over 33 years in the financial industry and worked as a Branch Manager using her people skills and love of excellent customer service. She also served as Treasurer of the Greenwich Rotary and Greenwich Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of Harvest Time Church and volunteers in the infants nursery.
